Online Classes
Online classes conducted via Zoom are available starting April, 2021. The Zoom Meeting ID and Password will be sent via email after registration. Weekly classes fee is $60 per month (or $165 quarterly) for Beginners and $70 per month (or $195 quarterly) for Intermediates. The first class is free for new students.

| Chen Lao Jia Yilu form, Silk Reeling Exercises & Qigong for Beginners | The Chen Taijiquan form is soft and graceful with strong rooted stands that will help students to develop strength, balance, coordination and an understanding of basic Taiji principles. Silk-reeling Exercises are a series of spiral movements which promote muscle relaxation and flexibility by reducing physical tension and strain. Qigong will help students to cultivate internal energy (qi) with proper body alignment for better internal energy flow to enhance their immune systems, and to reduce stress. | Meets once/week: Wednesdays 3pm-4:30pm |
| Chen Taijiquan applications, Silk Reeling Exercises & Wuji Qigong for Intermediates | The Chen Taijiquan form is soft and graceful with strong rooted stands that will help students to develop strength, balance, coordination and an understanding of basic Taiji principles. This class explores the Tai Chi principles in greater detail, allowing you to dive deeper into the Chen Style Lao Jia Yilu form, connecting what you learn in fundamentals such as Qigong and Silk Reeling Exercises to the form. | Chen-Style 48 Hunyuan Taijiquan, Silk Reeling Exercises & Hunyuan Qigong for Intermediates | The Chen-Style 48 Taijiquan form, compiled by Grandmaster Feng Zhiquan, is derived from the Xin Jia Chen Taijiquan Fist Form combined with a few postures from the Lao Jia Second Form. This combination gives a more yin and yang balance to the form. Chen Taijiquan form is soft and graceful with strong rooted stands that will help students to develop strength, balance, coordination and an understanding of basic Taiji principles. Hunyuan Qigong and Tai Chi Ruler Workshop
Cost: $50 for general public. $40 for students currently enrolled in Taijiquan classes offered at this site.
Hunyuan Qigong (混元氣功) is a form of moving Qigong to enrich the prenatal energy you possess at birth with energy around you. The Chen Style HunYuan Taiji Ruler (陳式混元太極尺) is a Qigong tool to enhance visualization and improve the energy movement during the Qigong practice.
At this workshop, you will learn how to cleanse your internal organs using Hunjuan Qigong, cultivate the Three Treasures Jing (精), Qi (氣), Shen (神) and how to use visualization to initiate and guide Qi throughout your body.
February 6, Sunday 1-4pm: Silk Reeling Exercises Workshop
The Silk Reeling Exercises (缠丝功), also known as Chan Si Gong, form the basic components and foundation of Chen Style Taiji practice. Chan Si Gong is a set of connected spiral movement exercises, to develop basic strengths and coordination. These exercises emphasize ground connection, waist connection, knee alignment, kua sinking, opening and closing of joints, and Dantian rotation.
Cost: $80 for general public. $70 for students currently enrolled in Taijiquan classes offered at this site.
